L’Huître Spéciale Tarbouriech was born of my desire to offer an exceptional product to the most demanding gourmets. Until 2007, Mediterranean oysters could not find their place in gastronomy. By inventing the Solar® Tide, we have given our oysters the best of the sea and the sun to the delight of amateurs and gourmets.

An oyster as delicious as it is beautiful, with a shell pinkened by the sun’s rays, polished by the waves and a sparkling white mother-of-pearl.

An oyster favoured by chefs
Spéciale Tarbouriech is bred for a minimum of three years and exposed to La Marée Solaire® from the very first months of its life. Thanks to this process, the flesh becomes denser and crunchier and its taste is refined, its shell develops a thicker mother-of-pearl, immaculate white on the inside, slightly pink on the outside and rid by the combined effect of the mistral and the sun of all the algae and colonizers that usually attach themselves to its shell underwater.





Many chefs have been seduced by the quality of our Special oyster with its perfect balance between iodine and sweet, with notes of hazelnuts and mushrooms.
